Those who knew the situation of his birth knew that he wasn&#8217;t born of normal ways. Born of a virgin he was at the least<!--more--> a miracle child coming directly from God because only God could have made this happen. This is the first piece of a much larger puzzle that makes up the full understanding of who Jesus is. Add to this the statements of John 1:1-3, Colossians 1:15 and Hebrews 1:3 to have a fuller understanding that he was more than a miracle baby. He was in fact the God of the universe, by whom all things were created, coming down in human likeness on mission. In John 3:16 Jesus himself tells us that his mission was for the salvation of who so ever would believe in him.
